My project today is using the Deep Lid Boxes kit  and Mom's English Garden.

The box is a snap to put together and so is the beautiful Gerber daisy.  I quickly quilled a center for the daisy so to make a 'handle" for the little box.  I chose some fun summer colors and now I have a cute box to use for a gift, or even for decoration!

I hope you enjoyed today's project and that you are inspired to enter before the end of the month.

Gratitude- with SVG Attic

This week's project I used the G is for Gratitude kit and made the quick and simple, yet lovely thank you card.  I mighta made it in one of my favorite combos- note: watermelon.  I also wanted the flowers to have a little more- so I double layered them- basically making my own kind of flower.
If you haven't joined in the fun yet- SVG Attic is having an ANYTHING GOES CONTEST!  Just submit any of your projects made with SVG Attic files for a chance to win!  You have until the end of the month to enter.  Looking forward to your projects!
The prizes are:
First Place:  $25 Gift Certificate to SVG Attic
Second Place:  $15 Gift Certificate to SVG Attic
Third Place:  $10 Gift Certificate to SVG Attic

Who is that lady?

Another fun project for the SVG Attic Inspiration Team!
I really like the Day at the Races kit and especially the silhouette lady on the bag.  But  I thought it would be nice to use her as card too!  I am loving the way it turned out.

I made the back and front of the bag at 50% size.  I scored the front along the edge and back of her hairline to glue the front and back together, making it easy to open too.  Because of the smaller size, I was able to give the hat some texture in my cuttlebug. Overall I am very pleased with how the project turned out.  I have left the inside blank with no sentiment as I haven't decided if it should be a birthday card for a special lady, or it could be used as a thank you card as well!  It also would make a lovely Mother's Day card... oh the possibilities!

I hope you have enjoyed today's inspiration project! :)
