Mojo Monday #256 Square!

Welcome to my first Mojo Monday post! :)  I loved this week's sketches and managed to carve out a little time.  For this entire card I used Close to my Hearts Clementine paper pack and the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.
I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the card and one of the ribbons.  I used the Incredible wreath stamp for the sentiment and the ribbons.  I hope you enjoyed my card as much as I enjoyed making it!
Don't forget to leave a comment and I hope you decide to become a follower!
Have an inspired day!

Mojo Monday #256

I loved this Mojo Monday sketch so much that I decided to make both the circle and the square!  For this card I used the the Art Philosophy cartridge for all of the cuts.  I used my Cuttlebug to emboss some of the pieces.  The paper is all from Close to my Heart, Clementine paper pack. I love the color combos on this pack!
I hope you too are inspired by these cards!

Baby Bunny!

A long time friend and his absolutely adorable wife are soon to be blessed with their first little one- A baby girl!
The mama to be has an obvious love for all things purple and chose a purple/lavender and bunny theme for her shower (and nursery I think!).  I had no idea what gifts exactly to "shower" them with, but I knew I wanted to make a special little themed keepsake and matching card for the festivities.
I hope you (and the parents to be) enjoy these as much as I enjoyed making them!
Here is what I used:
Baby Blocks- Cricut Artiste
Font Cartridge- Storybook
Kate's ABC's
Gypsy Wanderings
Card Base- Art Philospohy
Kates ABC's
Artiste

If you haven't heard the Cricut Collections by Close to My Heart are amazing!

Hey Punkin'!

I love 3D paper projects.  Peachy Keen Stamps blog challenge this week was for a "box".  I also have been thinking about making some of the 3D paper projects on the new Close to my Heart-Artiste cartridge...I spied this cute little cake (or pie) slice and immediately thought PUMPKIN! The kids are starting school... we are longing for cooler fall weather.... Seemed perfect, right? :)  And although I realize it was probably intended as a cake slice, pumpkin totally works here, don't ya think?
The cute face on the pumpkin can be found in the PKS Cherubs collection and the leaves are adorned with faces from the May stamp of the month kit!
I have been a Peachy fan for a long time and I hope to start diligently entering the blog challenges.  Maybe one day I can even get on the DT!  ( tee hee);)    Well that's all for now!  Enjoy and have a fabulous and inspired day!
And PLEASE... Leave me a comment! :D I Loooooove comments! <3
Happy Crafting!

Girls dorm room decor with a sporty twist!

My gorgeous niece is heading off to college in a few weeks.  She was lucky enough to get a room assignment with someone she knows and they have been busily planning room decor for awhile...  While we were out one day during her visit, she spied a cute paper wall hanging and was thinking she wanted one!  Well, they were a display item made to show case the craft product, not for sale... BUT of course I have the technology! No problem! I can totally do this and we can customize it to the colors they have chosen to decorate with!  Hooray! Here is what we came up with...
You see, after we had the super cute bright pink striped paper and the dark brown border all picked out (similar to what we saw in the store...)  I had dreams of beautiful 3D flowers and butterflies... She says "How about Softballs and Volleyballs?"  WHUT?  You're killing me here!  Really???  Okaaaaaayyyy....
So for this project I used my Cricut Expression and glue, add in a touch of ribbon and that's it!
Even sans the flowers and butterflies, I think that the sporty version turned out adorable!  The stripes ended up the perfect background paper!
  • Cricut Art Philosophy for the base, border and name plate.
  • Cricut Lite Cartridge Cherry Limeade for the font
  • Cricut Everyday Paperdolls for all of the sports accessories! Easy peasy!
  • I used some pop up foam for many of the pieces to give it dimension and my metallic gel pens to add some detail to the balls.

Now wait until the matching chalkboards up next! SO excited!
Have a fabulous weekend!

Loving the Lanterns

I love paper lanterns.  All kinds of paper lanterns.  I cut this adorable lantern on my Silhouette with a fabulous file from SVGCuts.com.  I have loved everything from SVGcuts.
The paper is from Close to my Heart, it is the Lucy paper pack.   I know you will be seeing more lanterns from me... I'm hooked!  If you like it, let me know!
